Copy the window or screen contents
Pressing PRINT SCREEN captures an image of your entire screen, also known as a "screen shot" or "screen capture", and copies it to the Clipboard in your computer's memory.
You can then paste (CTRL+V) the image into a document, e-mail message, or other file. If you want, you can print the image from the application that you pasted it into.
- Click the window that you want to copy.
- Press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
- Open up a program such as Word, Paint, an Email program or whichever application you want to insert the image in.
- Paste the image using (CTRL+V) or right click and select PASTE

Where is the PRINT SCREEN button?
The PRINT SCREEN key is usually located in the upper right corner of your keyboard. The key looks similar to the following
