Blackrock Networks, Inc. will be offering an Introduction to Programming class for 4th and 5th graders from Sept to Jan 2018. The class will cover the basics of programming in Python, an easy to learn language that is used today in many companies. The children will learn how to read, write, and modify basic Python programs. We will learn about variables, loops, if-then-else statements, and functions. Some of the topics we will cover include how to use Python to draw pictures, how to write a math quiz, how to make secret messages, and how to write simple programs to do cool things in Minecraft.
